In our culture, the word submit has become a swear word. This is very unfortunate because it has been twisted out of context. When people think of submission, they envision a cave man like guy dragging his wife by the hair while she makes him breakfast. This is the most distorted and inaccurate view of submission that anyone can come up with. Submission is not a chore but rather a great privilege. Why? Because God designed it that way. Here are four reasons why your wife is not submitting to your leadership: Continue Reading…

I am nowhere near being an expert on marriage. However, I am convinced that if you spend ten minutes doing this daily with your spouse, your marriage will be transformed for the better: Continue Reading…

The foundation you build in your twenties will define the rest of your life. The Bible urges you to become a master builder (1 Cor. 3:10). Therefore, if you are in your twenties or anywhere around that vicinity, here are twenty things you should stop doing: Continue Reading…
If you grew up in a Christian culture like me, you probably have used many of these phrases. Even though you had a good intention behind saying it, the effect was minimal, if not detrimental. These are very often used as empty filler phrases and turn out to sound Christianese to those who are not attuned to a Jesus culture. I hereby declare for the good of mankind and for the glory of God that today be the day when Christians stop saying these four phrases: Continue Reading…
